Toll Free Number

In an ongoing effort to make getting information about the Fort Ord Cleanup easier, a toll free telephone number has been established for information regarding the Army's environmental cleanup activities at the former Fort Ord. This toll free number currently provides detonation schedule information, prescribed burn schedule information, and the opportunity to speak to an environmental staff person.

The toll free number is 1-800-852-9699.  It is updated and monitored Monday through Friday. The local number for the information line is (831) 242-7383.

Upon dialing the toll free number you will be prompted to make one of the following selections:

Press 1 - for the latest information on Detonations
Press 2 - for status of Prescribed Burns
Press 3 - for updates on the Fort Ord Reuse Authority's Environmental Services Cooperative Agreement
Press 4 - Request to speak to a staff person from the former Fort Ord Environmental Cleanup office or to leave a message
