Public Lands Day at Fort Ord National Monument

Bureau of Land Management will host the National Public Lands Day (Make A Difference Day) at Fort Ord National Monument on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Please pre-register for this family-fun volunteer event here (https://signup.com/go/THnzKRV). Choose among seven volunteer projects at locations throughout the National Monument:

  • French Broom Bash – Hosted by C4SM
  • Oak Tree Care – Badger Hills & Guidotti
  • Plant Willow Cuttings – El Toro Creek
  • Ranger Tammy’s Pet Poopie Cleanup
  • Seed Collection – Lightfighter LZ
  • Seed and Straw Throw – Below Trail 61
  • Trail 65 Hardening – Hosted by MORCA

You will have a rewarding day of volunteer work from 9:00-11:30 and then be treated to a free lunch and other gifts for volunteers.
